                          Alvin Christophe, Jr. 
                                   Biography

Alvin Christophe, Jr. was born in New Orleans, La. He has five children and he has five grandchildren.  He married Winda on August 27, 2010. With that union he now has, together with his wife, a total of ten children and eight grandchildren. 

Alvin accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior on Memorial Day weekend in 1990.  God anointed Alvin to write songs that praise and worship his God.  God called him and anointed him to praise and worship God with his string instrument; bass guitar; at Upperroom Bible Church in 1999.  

Alvin has a desire to have a closer walk with the Lord so he took bible classes.  Also, he attended single, men and married ministry conferences to obtain a better understanding of God’s will for his life. 

Alvin is dedicated and committed to doing the will of God and it is evident by his receiving recognitions as Ministry of Helps Worker of the Month from his Pastors and his brothers and sisters in Christ from Upperroom Bible Church.  

He joined Living the Word International in 2009 and was part of Living the Word International band for five years.

God spoke to Alvin early Sunday morning in December, 2014 that their season at Living the Word International will end at the end of the year and that a “new season” will begin.  Pastors Lawrence and Chiquita Weathersby laid hands on them and blessed them. 

Alvin G. Christophe, Jr. together with his wife are the founders of Refresh Ministries International.  Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, Refresh Ministries International's first service was held on January 7, 2018.

Alvin Christophe's prayer is that his life will be an example to people on how to surrender their life to God. 

Alvin is most encouraged by the Words found Ecclesiastes 3:1(a) “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”, and Galatians 6:7 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

                                   Biography

Winda Christophe was born in Madison, Wisconsin and lived in Columbus, Ohio until she was thirteen and then her family moved to New Orleans, La. which she considers home.

She has five children and she has three grandchildren.   She married Alvin Gabriel Christophe, Jr on August 27, 2010. With that union she now has, together with her husband, a total of ten children and eight grandchildren. 

Winda accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior in September of 1980.

God called her and anointed her to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to His people.  She began teaching God’s people in 1982.  She has held bible classes during her lunch hour; at her previous book store, at her home and taught the Word while she sponsored “feed the homeless.” 

Winda received her Degree of Associate of Biblical Studies on June 2, 2002 and her Degree of Bachelor of Arts Biblical studies on July 24, 2005 from Friends International Christian University.  Also, she received her Degree of Bachelor of Science from Xavier University of Louisiana on May 10, 2008; which included Theology classes.  She continued her education and received her Degree of Master of Business Administration on March 31, 2014. 

She joined Living the Word International in February of 2004 and was ordained as an Elder at Living the Word International on December 9, 2007.  During that season she was the Director of the New Covenant Partner’s Ministry and she preached and taught the Word of God.

Winda Christophe together with her husband are the founders of Refresh Ministries International.  Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, Refresh Ministries International's first service was held on January 7, 2018.

Winda Christophe's prayer is that her life will encourage non believers to accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior and that her life will encourage believers to grow and mature in Him.

Winda is most encouraged by the Words found in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which  strengtheneth me.
